Design what people feel, see, hear, touch,…
Immersive Experience Design is a new specialisation for students who want to build the kind of work you find in festivals, museums, and public spaces — interactive installations that tell stories through light, sound, space, and interaction. You will prototype from day one, present your work every session, and learn from practitioners who are doing this professionally right now.
Semester 1 — Interaction Build your story first. Learn what interaction means, how it works, and how to prototype it — without getting lost in tools.
Semester 2 — Immersion Work with light, sound, and video. Deepen your technical knowledge and learn to design full sensory environments.
Semester 3 — Professionalisation Make it real. Budgets, client communication, safety, and the discipline of building things that actually run.
“Just make the show. Make it happen. Then do it again. Too many people are sitting on an idea, turning it over in their heads. Go for it.” — Antoine Goldshmidt
The course is built in participation and conversation with industry professionals and leaders. Every course element is verified and grounded in reality. These professionals will do guest lectures, evening talks and workshops throughout your career.
Part of Erasmus Hogeschool Brussel A specialisation within the multimedia bachelor. Applications open for the next academic year.
